What Types of Photos Are Acceptable for My Profile Picture?
As a Kuwayis user, you're encouraged to express yourself creatively through your profile picture. The choice is yours to make, aligning with what best represents you and your Kuwayis account.
However, keep in mind that inappropriate content, including nudity, sensitive material, and images violating copyright or identity rights, should not be used as your profile picture. Images containing offensive, derogatory, vulgar, or defamatory content are also not permitted. In the event of such content, our team retains the right to change your profile picture without prior notice.
What's the Purpose of Changing My Country Location?
Kuwayis operates with distinct country-specific marketplaces, allowing you to engage in browsing, selling, and purchasing on a single marketplace at a time.
Your profile's designated location influences the listings visible during your browsing sessions and the marketplace in which your newly listed items will appear. For example, if you modify your city to Riyadh or Jeddah, your browsing will be limited to listings uploaded within Jeddah. Furthermore, any listings you create after this change will be associated with the Jeddah marketplace and priced in Riyals (SAR). Listings you had previously made before altering your city will remain within their originally designated cities.
How Do I Adjust My Country Location? To modify your country location on Kuwayis, adhere to the instructions below:
On the Mobile App:
- Access your profile page (found in the "My Profile" tab).
- Proceed to Settings.
- Opt for "Edit Profile."
- Within the "My City" section, select your city.
- Confirm the change by selecting "Done."
On Kuwayis Web:
- Click on your profile picture located in the upper-right corner.
- Choose "Settings."
- Under your Public Profile section, locate "Current City" and input your city.
- Save the changes by selecting "Save."
Kindly be aware that if you wish to commence selling in a different country, your mobile phone number should correspond with the country code of the new location. Additionally, this phone number should not have been previously used to verify another Kuwayis account.

Transaction notifications cover critical updates like chats, offers, and reviews, which play a crucial role in engaging users. To guarantee that you stay well-informed, we mandate the presence of these notifications through at least one communication channel. Therefore, the complete deactivation of these notifications is not currently feasible.
I'm Still Not Receiving Email Notifications
If you're not receiving email notifications even after enabling them for your Kuwayis account, consider the following:
- Ensure that your email has been verified; you can confirm this by the presence of an email badge on your Profile page.
- Check your junk or spam folder to ensure that emails haven't been redirected there.
- Remember that if a chat offer or message is read within 3 minutes on either the mobile app or Kuwayis Web, you won't receive an email notification for that specific chat message.
The allocation of free ad postings and the associated costs for additional listings vary depending on the category you choose on the Kuwayis marketplace. To provide clarity on ad posting limits and listing durations across different categories, we've compiled a concise guide below.
Utilization of Quotas:
Once you've successfully listed an item or employed your quota to activate an inactive listing, the respective quota becomes permanently utilized. It's important to note that removing or designating a listing as sold/reserved doesn't free up the quota previously used.
Quota Exemption and Listing Fees:
For the Cars, Property, and Jobs categories, free listing quotas are available to sellers who wish to post items for sale. Beyond these quotas, a listing fee is necessary for adding further items to the Kuwayis marketplace. Conversely, the Services-related categories, being more business-oriented, do not offer free listing quotas. Sellers within these categories can opt to create ads by paying listing fees, which are valid for a 90-day period.
Managing Expiry and Renewal:

You might occasionally encounter unrelated listings in this section. This can happen when you're looking at unique deals or newly posted items, as it may take a bit more time for the system to calculate their similarity index and function effectively!
